Our Pedestal Trestle Table is a classic, timeless design with solid pedestals hand cut in our workshop. Hand crafted in Texas using only 100% solid American hardwood, we never use veneers, engineered wood, mdf, or plywood on any part of the table.

Need a size between standard width or length? We can build any table in any inch increment, both length and width. Please contact us to order a table between standard sizes.
All of our dining tables are built to standard 30" height. We do also build counter height tables and bar height tables. Please contact us for a quote.
Please allow approximately 12 weeks for completion of your custom hand made table.
Wood Species Choices
All of our dining tables are custom built of solid alder, maple, red oak, white oak, or walnut.
- Alder is a beautiful wood species with knots and texture. While alder is a hardwood, it is the softest of our species options. Wire brush texture works beautifully with the grain of alder. If you prefer the look of knots (all open knots are filled) and want a table with character and/or wire brush texture, alder is a perfect choice for you!
- Maple is the smoothest wood sand has the least texture of all of our species options. There will be very few knots in the entire table top, if any. Maple is a durable hardwood and is a great choice if you want a smoother table top without much distress or wire brush.
-Red oak has the classic and time-tested grain pattern of oak and stains beautifully. Wire brush texture works perfectly with red oak and is a great choice if you want more texture to your table.
- White oak is the hardest (and heaviest!) wood species we offer. White oak has become a very popular choice for furniture and cabinetry in the last few years. Most of the pictures of our white oak tables you will see in our social media are left unstained and finished with a high quality matte polyurethane finish. But we can also stain white oak any of the same finish options as red oak.
- Walnut is a beautiful hardwood with a unique grain pattern with varying shades of brown and blonde. No two tables will look alike. Most people order walnut for its beautiful and easily recognizable appearance. All walnut tables will have variation in wood one across the table top and table base. We hand select our walnut slabs and arrange the boards to achieve the most favorable design and flow. Your walnut table will be unique to your home as no two solid walnut tables will be the same. All walnut tables will be finished with our extremely durable oil based polyurethane. We do not stain walnut.
Distress and Wire Brush
We offer three options for the character and texture of your table: no distress added, distress added, and wire brush texture.
What does distress look like? Distress is marks and dents added to your table to give it an imperfect, time worn look. Distress marks are not deep enough to be "crumb catchers." And the distress is added before we sand, stain and finish your table so that there are no sharp edges that would catch on a cloth or paper towel when cleaning your table. While looking through our social media pictures, you may have come across a table that looks pretty beat up and is described as "heavy distress." If you would like a heavily distressed table, please contact us before ordering.
What is wire brush? Wire brush texture is created by running a wire brush tool along the pattern of the wood grain. It makes the grain pop and adds a nice texture to your table. Wire brush works beautifully with alder, red oak, white oak, and walnut. We do not suggest wire brush treatment for maple tables.
Finish and Protection
All of our tables are finished with the highest quality polyurethane possible for maximum protection again food and drink spills and scratching. Low sheen satin polyurethane is used on all finishes except salvaged natural and salvaged gray, which will have matte applied for a more natural, salvaged appearance.

Care information
Care information
- For daily care, clean surfaces using a mild soap, water, and a soft undyed cloth as needed.
- Occasionally dust finished wood surfaces with a soft, dry lint free cloth or dry swiffer cloth.
- Our tables are designed to withstand everyday use; however normal wear and tear is reflective of your care and use.
- Placing the table in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture could cause cracking or changes in wood finishes.
- When assembling your new table, avoid overtightening hardware as this could cause cracking. Please follow assembly instructions.
- Remove dirt or food from finished wood using a clean, undyed cloth or paper towel dampened with water or a mild soap or cleaner like Bona hardwood floor cleaner. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming. Do not use harsh household cleaners or furniture polish on the finished wood.
- To prevent moisture damage, wipe up spills immediately.
- Do not clean wood surfaces using abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and wood surfaces. We recommend using water or Bona hardwood floor cleaner.
- Protect the table surface from marks by using coasters, trivets, and placemats.
- Never place hot dishes directly on the surface of the table as this can cause scorching.
